USF2000 Logo

The Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda series represents the first official step on the motorsports ladder for drivers on a career path to the IZOD IndyCar Series. Sanctioned by IndyCar, the series provides pivotal training ground in a professional, entry-level open-wheel program for rising stars as they aspire to reach the upper echelons of the sport as part of the Mazda Road to Indy program. With a rich history, the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda debuted a new generation in 2010 as a revival of the highly regarded national USF2000 series, which ran from 1990 to 2006. Launching the careers of many of today's top drivers, the series features a scholarship prize package to advance to the Star Mazda series, the next rung on the motorsports ladder.
