Meet Roman Lagudi:

Born in Sydney, Australia, Roman Lagudi moved to Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of six. Beginning his career in karts as many racing stars do, Lagudi impressed as he won the Junior 1 points championship in 2005 at the age of ten, before taking a three year hiatus as his father focused on building his burgeoning business.

Returning to racing in 2009, Lagudi contested the Gatorz Karting series as well as the prestigious SuperKarts! USA SuperNationals, posting a 20th place final result in the ultra-competitive TaG Junior class. Moving up to the Toyota Speedway Irwindale S2 division in 2010, the Las Vegas, Nevada resident would go on to earn runner-up honors despite his rookie status.

In 2011, Lagudi competed in seven out of twelve rounds in the Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda with JDC MotorSport beginning at the Night Before the 500 at Lucas Oil Raceway Park in Indianapolis, Indiana. Lagudi's remarkable run included a steadily improving performance and ended the season with seven top-tens and two top-fives including a podium finish at the Baltimore Grand Prix.

Garnering the attention of Belardi Auto Racing team owner Brian Belardi with his performance in Baltimore, as well as a strong showing at the Chris Griffis Memorial Mazda Road to Indy test where Lagudi posted the second fastest lap in the final session while battling an engine issue, Lagudi will contest the entire 2012 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship powered by Mazda with the championship-caliber team.
